About the Program
We are excited to promote the education of Utah’s children by offering the Summit Reader Program. We hope to encourage continued reading habits and provide a fun incentive for your student(s) during these unique circumstances.
The Summit Reader Program is a reading incentive program for students in elementary school. It rewards Utah’s elementary-aged students for reading outside of school. Each student who completes the required 500 minutes of reading will receive a FREE child day pass to Splash Summit Waterpark ($14.99 value).
The free Summit Reader Program tickets is valid for one (1) FREE full day ticket Monday through Saturday throughout the 2020 season. To begin, please click the button below to download the required paperwork.
The Summit Reader Program is for students enrolled in any Utah elementary school grades K-6. Only students and teachers whose schools are registered are eligible to participate.
Yes, if you are a home educator and your elementary-aged student does not
attend another public or private educational institution, you are eligible to
participate. Online elementary-aged students may also participate.
In light of the impacts of COVID-19, parents are encouraged to implement the Summit Reader Program. Parents can download the Summit Reader Program, administer the program and turn in the completed packet to email@example.com. We do ask that parents include the name and e-mail address for their child’s teacher along with the completed packet. This will help us track which schools/teachers participate in the program.
Splash Summit will distribute tickets to the participating schools during by May
15. Schools will handle distribution of tickets on a school-wide basis. Out of an
abundance of caution, in 2020, Splash Summit will be e-mailing each participant
their day pass. Participants can then print off their day pass and present it at the
waterpark for a one-time admission during the 2020 season.
Splash Summit Waterpark values and encourages literacy throughout Utah and is proud to offer this program free of charge!
