About the Program
We are excited to promote the education of Utah’s children by offering the Summit Reader Program. We hope to encourage continued reading habits and provide a fun incentive for your students!
The Summit Reader Program is a reading incentive program for students in elementary school. It rewards Utah’s elementary-aged students for reading outside of school. Each student who completes the required 500 minutes of reading will receive a FREE child day pass to Splash Summit Waterpark ($17.99 value).
The free Summit Reader Program tickets is valid for one (1) FREE full day ticket Monday through Friday Memorial Day – Friday, August 9, 2024. To begin, please click the button below to download the required paperwork.
New in 2024!
Based on educator feedback, we’ve simplified the required documents for 2024 submissions! Starting in 2024, the only required document needed for submission is the “Classroom Ticket Request” form found on page 3 of the Summit Reader Packet. This change will simplify the process while still maintaining the integrity of the program.
Frequent Questions
The Summit Reader Program is for students enrolled in any Utah elementary school grades K-6. Participate in the Summit Reader Program by downloading the “Summit Reader Packet” above and returning it to read@splashsummitresort.com by the deadline found inside the packet.
Yes, if you are a home educator and your elementary-aged student does not attend another public or private educational institution, you are eligible to participate. Online elementary-aged students may also participate.
Splash Summit will distribute tickets via e-mail to each participant. Participants can then print off their day pass and present it at the waterpark for a one-time admission during the 2023 season.
Splash Summit Waterpark values and encourages literacy throughout Utah and is proud to offer this program free of charge!
Any recreational reading including: novels, magazines, comic books, etc.
Students can choose to read on their own, with their parents or to younger
siblings/students.
No, students can only earn one ticket each year.
Tickets cannot be used for group events or school outings. Tickets are for individual or family visits only. For special school group pricing, please email groups@splashsummitresort.com.
